You will get much better results when you properly prep. It all starts with a good canvas. The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Here's how to get your skin ready for the procedure.
Do not have any type of facial or peel two weeks prior to treatment,
Discontinue vitamin A or Retinol products one month prior to treatment,
Do not work out the day of the procedure,
Do not have Botox 2 weeks prior,
Do not take fish oil or vitamin E one week prior (Natural blood thinners), Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit, please follow the following:
Do not drink alcohol or smoke (includes cigarettes and marijuana) 24 to 48 hours before and after your tattoo
Do not consume coffee 24hrs before and after your procedure
Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief 24 hours before or after (this thins the blood). If you need to take pain killers, Tylenol only.
Aftercare
Take care of your brows! How well they heal depends on how well you take care of them.
The first 12 days wash face and gently wash brows regularly morning and night with antibacterial soap or a gentle face wash then apply a thin layer of ointment after washing. Peeling is normal.
**NO MAKEUP ON YOUR BROWS FOR 14 DAYS, around the brows is fine just be careful when applying and removing makeup**
•Stay away from the sun as much as possible
•Do not swim, go to a sauna, or workout
•Do not pick scabs or scratch your brows, it can cause color loss
If an infection or adverse reaction occurs at the sight of your tattoo, contact your personal physician for treatment and report to SNHD Special programs at 7027590677
A touch up after the first session is recommended for longer lasting brows and to get them looking perfect. Touch-ups are only after 6 weeks to add color again to anywhere that may have healed too light or make brows darker.
Once the brows are fully healed at 4 weeks, begin applying sunscreen to prevent fading and ashy brows. Clean up excess hairs outside of the brow shape in order to keep your brows looking clean, sharp and beautiful.
